Soooo I feel kinda sorry for this prince, I mean, he doesnt have a name. It's said it could be Florian, Frederick or even Ferdinand. Who knows?

Anyway, so like Prince Charming, I had to create a design for this Prince from scratch. It was an interesting challenge, but I think I've stuck to his original getup as much as possible. Oh, and Snow White's in the picture too :P

I don't know what his real name is... I think Florian or Frederick are up there and Ferdinand was a rumor... I don't like that one anyway! haha

He does not have a name (which makes sense because he was the first, but also because not every character has to have a name, especially when he has such a small role). Ferdinand was based on a misconstrued quote from Shirley Temple, and the others are pure fan fabrication.

No Florian and Frederick are actually Disney's names for him, Florian is what Disney marketing in France uses for him and Frederick was in the Disney Archives for production but dropped along with his larger role making Florian his name. Hans, David, Wilhelm/William and Johnathan are the only fan fabrications I'm aware of. So I will say that Prince Florian goes by The Prince because he's embarrassed by his real name, ala Eugene/Flynn

No no, if anything, the names thrown around are production/point of interest names, but his character definitely doesn't have enough depth to be embarrassed by anything (a la Flynn), or it surely would have been mentioned, as would have his name, if he had had one. And both of those names are alleged and rumors, and are not used in an official capacity by Disney. It's not SO strange, there are several princes in Disney history that were never given an official name (this Prince, Cinderella's Prince Charming, the Beast... don't even get me started on that "Adam" nonsense...).
