I've always been in love with the roaring 20s and recently it's become a huge thing. Underbelly Razor has really renewed my love for flappers, as well as Anna Godberson's Bright Young Things series and a recent episode of Vampire Diaries. So here's my next project, but instead of doing every character, I've planned 14.

Onto Belle's design...
It took me a while to get to this point and I must say I'm pleased with it. The hat and coat combo worked so well :). And of course, her yellow dress channels the original design :)

They kinda look like Tiara's clothing from The Princess and The frog.

Tale as young as the 1920s,
Song as new as jazz,

when beauty hits the beast

Very interesting, as the whole series is! I almost don't recognize her here, but i can still tell it's her from the eyes. (Faves and recommends) I'll refer this to a friend of mine who's cosplayed as and auditioned to be Belle and who's also a fashion student - I expect she'll love it!

Are you aware that the positioning of ornament on cloche hats was used as a signaling device in the 1920's?
